El Up River sigue cumpliendo un rol preponderante en la exportación del maíz argentino hacia el mundo. Para llegar al puerto, cada grano de maíz espera recorrer un promedio de 343 kilómetros a nivel país.

El 4 de marzo, el Gobierno Nacional puso en marcha, a través de la Resolución Conjunta 3/2002 del Ministerio de Desarrollo Productivo y MAGYP, un fideicomiso para asegurar un precio estable para dos productos Harina de Trigo Pan tipo 000 y Fideos secos.
Vegoil shipments grew 24% in 2021 and were only below the 2007 record. Rosario city hub accounted for 93% of the total tons shipped. In terms of destinations, Asia received 73% of the total, with India becoming the main recipient.
Argentina shipped 32.3 Mt of meals and pellets last year, 5 Mt more than in 2020. Rosario cluster remains the main export node of meal and pellets and Asia as the main recepient region of these shipments.
