The corn season that has just begun throws up numbers that move negatively away from the past crop. The production of the Northern Region is forecast to have losses of 10.5%, while the centre would decrease its production by 9.6%.

In the last 20 years, Argentina doubled its corn planted area, which today is again the largest crop. The solid export profile of corn complex allows us to expect that in 2022 it will account for 13% of Argentina’s total exports.
