The global supply outlook for grains in 2009/10improved further during the past month as estimates of maize (corn) crops shortly to be harvested in Argentina and Brazil were lifted. At 1,774m. tons, the world production estimate is 6m. higher than in January, and quite close to last year’s record outturn of 1,793m.
